Dinner Date

So Jacob's work has a huge order that came in so last night he had to work late. I hate when he has to work late but I don't mind the extra money so I just suck it up. It was also a fun time to have a special dinner with Savannah. Now I didn't have what some might consider a traditional dinner but I LOVED it as did Savannah. We each had big plates of fruit and veggies and of course the home made bread I made a few days ago. Savannah had so much fun dipping her broccoli into her ranch and we of course watched Cinderella while enjoying our picnic. Have I mentioned that Cinderella is her most favorite movie and she wants to watch it all the time. I'm glad I like it and I'm glad its getting warmer so we can soon be outside more. Anyway we had lots of fun and next time I hope Jacob can have a fun picnic with us, he has yet to be here when I've decided to have one.

Finishing Up

Ok so I'm a slacker on finishing up my trip posts but here you go. On Saturday we didn't really do anything. Mark had another all day track meet and we didn't end up going. I hung out at home with my mom and watched some TV. It was nice for Savannah to have a relaxed day where we didn't have to do anything.
Sunday was our last full day in Maryland and it was a really good one. We went to church and I ended up hanging out with Savannah in nursery, she had a harder time because all the nursery leaders she had the week before weren't there. Also none of them got subs for themselves or if they did none of them came. They ended up rounding up some ward members to help out and I just decided to stay since Savannah was totally crying. After church my friend Jenny came to pick me up with her 3 girls and off Savannah and I went to see some of our other friends. When I lived in Maryland after I went to LDS Business College Jenny and I became friends with David and Joe. The four of us along with our other friend Valerie would do everything together. We're all married now and rarely get to see eachother so this was special because we haven't been able to get together for about 4 years now. Val lives in North Carolina so she wasn't there but the rest of us got to get together..
Joe, Jenny, and I have kids so all together we had 6 adults and 7 kids all at Dave and Summer's house. They were such sports to have us all over and it was so much fun catching up. As a side note one the way there Savannah decided to throw up the cup of milk she had been drinking on the way along with her snack from nursery. I'm thinking she got car sick or something like that. I had to wash her clothes once we got to Dave's house so for 90% of our stay Savannah just walked around in her diaper. She also learned how to take her diaper off while there thankfully I had just changed a messy diaper so she at least didn't crap on their floor. I really do promise promise though that I had a blast seeing everyone.
On Monday I had to wake up at like 6am because our flight left at 8:40. Needless to say I was thankful I slept well and that Savannah didn't wake up till I woke her up that morning. My mom and Mark took us to the airport and I had a very pleasant flying experience again. Did you know that if your flying by yourself and have a small child and your pregnant like me you get to board first?! I didn't until I left from Maryland. I know they have family boarding after the A group on Southwest but I got to board before the A's which was fantastic because every seat was filled on that first flight. I once again sat next to two very nice people and because the Lord loves me Savannah fell asleep halfway through the 4 hour flight and didn't wake up till we were at the gate in Salt Lake. It was wonderful. Our flight from Salt Lake to Boise was enjoyable as usual, the flight is never full and we almost always get a whole row to ourselves. Savannah was in heaven sitting in her own seat and I just let her watch Cinderella and eat snacks on her tray. She was an angel.
Once we landed in Boise I kept telling Savannah to look out for daddy and boy did she ever. She kept saying daddy and pointing all around the airport trying to find Jacob. Once we saw him I helped her out of her stroller and she ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. She didnt' let go of Jacob until we had gotten our bags and were getting into the car. Needless to say she really missed Jacob as did I.
Overall my trip was perfect, I loved every minute of it and was beyond sad to leave. I was of course excited to get back to Jacob but I already miss being in Maryland and can't wait to go back whenever that might be.
