Yesterday I wore my girls out! We started out the day with their cousin Avery at a park near our house, the girls were all having so much fun before we knew it 3 hours had gone by! Everyone just had a blast and loved every minute of it.
Olivia did great on the swings and its actually good therapy for her. We practice holding onto the chain and getting a good grip with her right hand. It seemed like the last time we went on the swings Olivia had a hard time staying on the swing, she'd always lean forward and fall out but this time she did great.
Savannah loved climbing on everything she could and once she accomplished her goal I'd hear a "Look mommy! Look!"
After we left the park we ran a few errands and then headed over to our old neighborhood and had a play-date with our good friends the Baker's. The kids all had fun playing in the back yard and we had a yummy dinner together. I decided to stay over and watch my guilty pleasure Bachelor Pad with JaNeil. We decided to wear the kids out a bit more by taking a walk and then playing at the park by their house.
All the kids had to take turns holding baby Oren while going down the slide and I decided we had to race around the park too while I timed the kids. By the end they were all asking to go back to the house which is awesome. We gave the kids a bath and Olivia was so dirty she had a dirt ring around her waist where her diaper had been. It was actually pretty gross, the water in the tub even turned brown. Donaven was sweet enough to let the girls borrow some of his pj's and the kids all watched a movie in his room while the mommies watched their show.
Both the girls fell asleep on the way home and when Savannah woke up she told me she had had the best night! I love how well these kids get along and it'll be a very sad day when we move away from them. Savannah's already asking me who she'll play with once we move.
Not going to lie almost made me cry again (I am a big baby) since you have already moved. Just tell her that at least once a year we will get to see each other hopefully.
