Unplugged in April

For the month of April our city is trying to have everyone unplug and spend more time with their families so to kick off the month the fire station had an open house. Now they had one when we first moved here and it was fantastic so we were quite excited to see what was in store for us this time around. Once again the girls loved sitting in the fire trucks and the ambulance they also had many stations set up with different activities.

Poor Olivia as so upset whenever she we took her out of the fire trucks she's just start crying and as soon as we put her back in she was all smiles again.
Savannah loved getting her temporary tattoo put on and running around the all the stations. She even got a free plant for answering questions on a worksheet. They also had a bowling with firetrucks game and Savannah had a blast and was so proud of herself for knocking all the pins down. I really do enjoy community activities like this and I'm grateful we live in such a small tight knit community that sponsors events like this. I think Savannah and I have decided to make cookies to take to the fire department as a thank you.
