Here are the girls Easter morning, when they woke up they started their hunt for their baskets and were well pleased with what they found. The Easter bunny decided not to give us candy this year because well we get candy for every holiday and we don't need anymore candy. The girls each got books, stickers, stamps, erasers, and some other small toys. Then it was time to get ready for church and put on their new dresses that their great grandma McCombs got them.
Once we got home I had the girls run around outside for a bit so I could take some pictures. Once again we had a beautiful day and we took advantage of it.
After we took pictures we went inside to change and make lunch for our picnic then we let the girls run around the yard. I can tell that we will be spending quite a lot of time outside this spring and summer and I'm excited because everything is starting to bloom.
Our Easter was really nice and quite perfect. I really enjoyed spending time with family on Saturday and then having a nice quite Sunday. It was nice to spend Easter with just Jacob and the girls. Church was lovely, the talks were great and my Primary class was just so fun and sweet. I loved spending time with Jacob and the kids after church, it was so nice to talk to them about why we are celebrating Easter and what the day is really about. When we told Savannah that Jesus died for us she was devastated that Jesus wouldn't be able to blow out his birthday candles anymore. I just had to cover my mouth while Jacob took over explaining that one. It was just a great day. Hope your Easter was just as wonderful.
